More Than 35 Years Of Service

My law enforcement journey began at age 16 as a volunteer Police Cadet. Over the decades that followed, I served in increasingly responsible roles from: Community Service Officer and commissioned Police Officer to K9 Handler, Sergeant, and Supervisor of the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET).

My experience spans criminal and narcotics investigations, personnel supervision, training and mentoring, labor relations, budgets and grants, multi-agency operations, and community partnerships.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to protecting constitutional rights, maintaining professional standards, and serving the people of Lewis County.

Leadership & Training

Strong law enforcement organizations depend on well-trained employees, effective supervisors, and clear expectations.

During my career, I designed and implemented a training program for the Centralia Police Department and earned instructor and trainer certifications in multiple law enforcement disciplines. I have also completed extensive supervisory and leadership training throughout my career.

Career Path

Police Cadet → Community Service Officer → Commissioned Police Officer → K9 Handler → K9 Master Trainer → Department Trainer → Firearms Instructor → SWAT Operator → Patrol Sergeant → JNET Supervisor

Each role brought new responsibilities and opportunities to lead, learn, and serve.

Multi-Agency Leadership

For eight years, I supervised the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET), working with local, state, and federal personnel to investigate drug trafficking and other criminal activity.

That role included supervising personnel, overseeing investigations and case management, administering budgets and grants, coordinating with partner agencies, and managing the day-to-day responsibilities of a multi-agency team.

Prepared to Lead

More than three decades in law enforcement have given me experience at nearly every level—from volunteering as a teenager to supervising complex investigations and multi-agency operations.

I believe effective law enforcement requires professional leadership, sound judgment, accountability, strong employees, and respect for the people we serve.

My career has prepared me to bring that experience to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and serve the community I have called home throughout my life.
